The Center for Bioinformatics and Computational Biology (CBCB) holds a weekly seminar during the academic year, with the goal of showcasing research being done at the center, at UMD, and at other institutions. To this end, the seminar features research in progress (RIPS) talks by graduate students and invited speakers from academia and industry (advertised). Graduate students have the opportunity to meet with invited speakers after the seminar.
The full schedule, including RIPS talks, can be found on our website (https://www.cbcb.umd.edu/CBCB_Seminar_Series) and on this public google calendar (https://calendar.google.com/calendar/embed?src=c_nqgv88d0jtognnc963bhavtqr8%40group.calendar.google.com&ctz=America%2FNew_York).
