Abstract

In this tutorial, I will discuss the use of knitr, pandoc, and Rmarkdown to create reproducible manuscripts. In addition to discussing the use of knitr and RMarkdown to generate manuscripts containing figures and tables generated in R, a more general language-agnostic overview of Markdown-based manuscripts will be provided, including advice for handling bibliographies and the use of LaTeX for increased formatting flexibility.
