Abstract

In the first half, I will give a brief overview of the research done in my group -- the Perception and Intelligence (PI) lab -- in computer vision and machine learning. In the second half, I will discuss the problem of object class discovery, provide an overview of how the problem evolved over the years, and present our recent work that charts the next steps.
