Abstract

Justin Zook is currently working on developing reference materials, reference data, and reference methods for human genome sequencing with the Genome in a Bottle Consortium. Specifically, he is developing methods to compare and integrate whole genome DNA sequencing data from multiple platforms and sequencing runs.  Also, he developed a method to use synthetic DNA and RNA Standard Reference Materials to improve base quality scores from "Next Generation Sequencing" instruments.
